Latvia Sets the Pace: Supernova 2026 Semi-Final One Running Order Revealed

Latvia has officially laid its cards on the table.
LSM has revealed the running order for Semi-Final One of Supernova 2026, giving us our first proper glimpse into how Latvia plans to shape the opening night of its Eurovision selection season.
Twelve artists will step onto the Supernova stage in Riga on 31 January, all hoping to secure one of the precious qualification spots for the final. And yes, because this is Supernova, the sequence absolutely matters.
Let’s take a look.
Supernova 2026 – Semi-Final One Running Order
- Antra Stafecka – Divejāda (Dual)
- TIKASHA SAKAMA – #010126 CODA
- ELPO – Blakus (Beside)
- Agnesse – Oh My My
- Emilija – All We Ever Had
- Blurie – Lovin’ Always Gets Me Down
- Aivo Oskis – Walking Out
- Daba – Panic Attack
- Kautkaili – Te un tagad (Here and now)
- De Mantra – Let Them
- Honey Blue – Blue Disco
- Ivo Grīsniņš Grīslis – Home
Opening duties fall to Antra Stafecka, a familiar name for Latvian audiences, while Ivo Grīsniņš Grīslis gets the closing slot, often considered one of the most desirable positions of the night.
Somewhere in between sits a mix of electronic, indie, pop and introspective titles that already suggest a stylistically varied evening.
Early Running Order Observations
Latvia appears to be spreading different moods across the show rather than stacking similar styles together. That is usually a good sign.
Mid-show placements for songs like “All We Ever Had” and “Lovin’ Always Gets Me Down” hint at potential emotional centrepieces, while “Blue Disco” arriving at number eleven feels very much like a strategic attempt to wake up anyone who may have briefly checked their phone.
No conclusions yet, but patterns are quietly forming.
How Qualification Works at Supernova 2026
Across the two semi-finals:
- 10 songs will qualify directly for the final
- 1 wildcard may be awarded to a non-qualified entry
- This results in 11 finalists
In other words, not everyone’s journey ends on semi-final night, but nobody wants to rely on the wildcard lottery.
The Bigger Picture
Supernova has built a reputation over the years for taking creative risks and championing alternative sounds. Some years it pays off spectacularly. Other years it produces cult favourites who live forever in fan playlists.
Either way, Latvia rarely plays it safe.
With Semi-Final One now mapped out, attention turns to staging concepts, rehearsals and that magical moment when fandom collectively decides who was “robbed”.
Tradition is important.
